Insulation Labs was recommended by my HVAC company (Titan Air Conditioning, Inc.) to completely overhaul my attic & perform an "Attic Cleanup Bundle." After discovering some of my duct connections were wrapped in asbestos, a specialized asbestos abatement company was hired to remove the asbestos & everything in contact with it. After that was completed, Insulation Labs was hired to: Remove all of the old blown-in insulation (with a giant vacuum); sanitize the attic; Air Seal any openings into the attic including any electrical wiring or fixtures (ceiling lights, attic fans & plumbing/HVAC pipes or runs). Also included was Rodent Exclusion (performed by a pest control company) - sealing up any places that allowed entrance or exit into or out of the attic. And finally, Installing R38 roll-in fiberglass insulation (cut to fit inside of the rafters). The entire crew (up to 6 or 8 individuals) were AWESOME! Especially Victor & Domingo! They were constantly giving me updates & progress reports on what was happening, & if I asked a question, they would stop what they were doing & give me their full undivided attention, completely explaining things, & then make sure my question was answered, & then inquire if I had any more questions! They were amazing & top notch individuals - representing your company with honor & distinction, & reassuring me that you were definitely the right company for the job! The initial discussions and walk through with their team were very structured and organized, and the team rep Joe did a stellar job talking us through the process and what was needed, in detail that was clear and precise. And they had competitive, good pricing, which I compared against other bids. From there, the team was great, setting up things professionally and quickly with Julio, their PM. Very communicative and helpful, and Charlene on their team was fast and meticulous about sorting things out with us and the needed paperwork. The team that came and worked for two days was incredible. Armando and his team communicative, professional, and very thorough. They prepped our house really well, cleaned out the old attic insulation in a really systematic and organized way, and dealt with anything that came up with a great attitude and thoughtful solutions. They coordinated well with their team offsite and I received proactive comms from all of them along the way. They also took the time to show us progress along the way and explain everything. Honestly, we have had different companies come work on the house since we moved here and Insulation Labs were by far the most professional, hard-working, and high quality. I truly appreciate how the work area was securely enclosed from the rest of the house. This made it much easier and more convenient for my elderly mother. The insulation in my crawlspace under the house was consistently wet and after getting plumber to come out to confirm there's no pipe leak, I decided to ask ChatGPT, it told me that prolonged wet insulation will create problems long time and that I should install something like a vapor barrier. I found insulation labs and Ray came out for an estimate. He told me the same thing as ChatGPT did so it confirmed my suspicions. His quote was definitely on the expensive side compare to a competitors quote but he did mention that his quote is expensive because they use 12mm thick vapor barriers which is more resistant. The other competitor quoted me around half the price but for 6mm barriers. I again asked ChatGPT and it told me that 12mm is preferred because 6mm is prone to breaking once a contractor or someone go down to the crawlspace and when that happens it loses its purpose to control vapor. We hired insulation lab to install insulation in our attic and crawl space. They did a very good job. They were on time, and they worked very clean. They made a tunnel from the entrance door to the attic entrance so dust didn't get into our house. I went to the attic to check their work after they were done and all the batts were placed properly ensuring they are covering all the corners. I was extremely impressed  with the three person crew that came into my house. They immediately set up plastic all around the area that they will be utilizing from the front door to where my attic door was. They removed all of the old installation, sanitized and put up rodent proofing. They were amazingly quiet and efficient  what they did left no dirt behind. They need to return after my electrician does the work that he needs to do in the attic so they can install the new install new and air sealing. Amazing work crew. Setup a protective barrier in the house from front door to attic to contain everything as they removed the all the dirty & ratty +20 yrs old insulation. Once the attic was all cleaned out, they put in all new fluffy pink insulation. So happy now! Since the front door was open most of the day as they worked the house temp got up to almost 90 without the air conditioning running so a little toasty for me but I can not complain as these guys worked in full on protective gear in triple digit attic temps. In July 2024 I hired Insulation Labs to add more insulation to our attic. They showed up on time with a truck full of insulation, and a few hours later they had put all of it inside our attic. They did a good job up there. I am very pleased with how everything turned out. Attic Insulation Labs is a great company, and I highly recommend them.  They are totally professional from the owner Eran, to the salesman Oliver, to the foreman Jose,  and the entire crew.  They are friendly and amicable and do an amazing job.  And they left my house spotless!  Dianna will even do the rebate paper work for you. Abraham gave me all the info for me to make an informed decision about what company to use and so happy I stayed with yours. The guys showed up the Saturday to install on time, stayed all day, did a great job cleaning up and then the follow up has been terrific with getting what I need for LADWP.
